Getting to the Yorkshire Museum and Hospitium

The Yorkshire Museum (York, YO1 7FR) - can be found in the heart of historic York. It is situated next to Lendal Bridge and is a short 10-15 minute walk from the city's main train station. The closest carpark to the museum is just a 5 minute walk away.
There is disabled access into the museum, with a ramp at the front of the building and main entrance.
The entrance to Tempest Anderson Hall, where our lectures are taking place, is around the side of the museum, a two minute walk from the main entrance. If you head towards the main entrance there will be signs to direct you to the lecture hall when you arrive.
York is on Britain's main rail network and is easily reached from all directions from the A1.
There are six park-and-ride services into the city off the outer ring road.
